Ingredients
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned pumpkin 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl cream shortening and sugar.
2) Mix pumpkin, egg, and vanilla to it.
3) Beat the mixture.
4) In a large bowl, sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and spices.
5) Blend into creamed mixture.
6) Add raisins and nuts.
7) On a greased cookie sheet drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart.
8) Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.

SERVING
9) Serve immediately.
