Ingredients
  Egg whites 5
  Cream of tartar 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Flaked coconut 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped brazil nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Candied orange peel 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), diced
  Candied cherries 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat slow oven (325°F.)

MAKING
2) Whip egg whites till fluffy.
3) Blend cream of tartar, salt, and vanilla to the whites till stiff to hold shape.
4) Add coconut, nuts, and orange peel.
5) Place one teaspoon at a time on well-greased cookie sheets.
6) Press a cherry half in center of each.
7) Bake in oven for 20 minutes.

SERVING
8) Serve warm or cold.
