No Bake Cookie Balls
|Chocolate chips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Instant coffee||2 Teaspoon|
|Sifted icing sugar||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla wafers||4⁄5 Cup (12.8 tbs) (Finely Crushed With Rolling Pin On Piece Of Wax Paper)|
|Hot water||1⁄3 Cup (4.8 tbs)|
1) Dissolve coffee in hot water.
2) Ground the chopped walnuts finely.
3) In a double boiler, melt chocolate and stir in corn syrup, dissolved coffee and icing sugar, saving 1/2 cup icing sugar for rolling the balls.
4) Finally add in ground walnuts and wafer crumbs and shape into one inch balls.
5) Use as required.
Eliminate the saved icing sugar if the chocolate mixture are rolled in colored candy trims.
