|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Rolled oats||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream shortening and sugar, add unbeaten egg.
Add after sifting together, flour, baking powder and salt.
Add other ingredients, drop on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 350 degrees 10 minutes.
You can use margarine for shortening.
I also prefer Angel Flaked coconut.
