|Butter||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), melted|
|Baking powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Chopped figs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|English walnuts/Pecans||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped dates||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Mix sugar, melted butter and eggs well.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut fruits into dry ingredients and mix so fruit pieces are separated; then add to first mixture.
Form into 4 or 5 rolls.
Wrap in waxed paper and chill.
Slice for baking, or wrap well for freezer for future use.
Slice 1/4" thick and bake at 350° for 7 to 10 minutes on ungreased pan. (Fruit may be ground if desired, instead of chopping.)
