Ingredients
  All purpose flour 3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)
  Double-acting baking powder 4 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Light brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3 Large
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Raisins 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

MAKING
2.Sieve all purpose flour, baking powder and salt and keep aside.
3.Mix sugar with spices and shortening.
4.Put eggs in the shortening mixture and blend well.
5.Add milk and raisins and stir.
6.Put the flour mixture slowly in the shortening mixture and keep blending.
7.Take an oiled cookie sheet and drop the mixture using a teaspoon.
8.Bake for 15- 18 minutes.

SERVING
Serve with tea/coffee.
