In a medium pan , place your pan over medium heat. Drop the butter into the pan and let it completely melt. Once the butter has melted add the marshmallows and continue to stir. You will not want your mallows to burn! After the marshmallows have melted, it’s time to add in the rice cereal. Continue to stir until all the rice cereal is coated with the marshmallow.
Immediately pour the rice cereal onto a baking sheet, lined with wax paper. You will need to spread the rice cereal mixture out evenly. Use the back of a metal spoon that is buttered to help from sticking.
Once the rice cereal is even, you can then cut with cookies cutters. I used the bunny and egg shapes! You Should come out with 4 of each shape.
I then start to decorate my bunny shapes first by; frosting pink ears, jelly bean/ m&m eyes, black licorice whiskers, pink frosting nose, and white frosting for a mouth.
For my egg shape, I decided to melt chocolate and dip the front of the egg in it. Once the front has been dipped in chocolate, I sprinkle the front with colorful sprinkles.
