Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies
|Soft butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat in eggs.
Add molasses and sifted dry ingredients.
Chill for 2 to 3 hours.
Roll out on lightly floured board to 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut with floured 3 1/2 -inch cookie cutter.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for about 10 minutes.
