Christmas Tree Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream butter, add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and lemon juice.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Chill.
Roll dough to about 1/8 thickness.
Cut into medium and small Christmas trees, using cookie cutter or paper pattern.
Bake in preheated hot oven (425°F.) for 5 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool; cover with frosting; decorate
