Peanut Butter Cookies I
|Shortening||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Powdered sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , well-beaten|
|Sifted all purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
Work the shortening, peanut butter, sugar, and egg together with a spoon until fluffy and creamy.
Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Press through a cookie press—following the manufacturer's directions—onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in a moderately hot oven of 375ºF for 12-15 min.
