Oatmeal Drop Cookies
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Melted butter/Margarine / shortening||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sifted flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Powdered cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
1. Start oven, set at Moderate, 325° F. Rub shallow pans or cookie sheets with shortening.
2. Beat the egg, mix with the sugar, butter, margarine or shortening and molasses. Stir in the milk, oats and raisins.
3. Sift the dry ingredients and beat in. Mix well.
4. Drop by teaspoon into pans or on the baking sheets. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
