Mincemeat Drop Cookies
|Butter/Margarine / shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Moist mincemeat||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Brought)|
|Sifted flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
1. Start oven, set at Moderately Hot, 400° F. Rub cookie sheets with margarine or shortening.
2. Cream the butter, margarine or shortening; gradually add the sugar and continue beating until light and smooth; beat in the egg. Stir in the mincemeat.
3. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add, mixing until well blended.
4. Drop the mixture from a teaspoon about 1 inch apart on the cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until delicately browned.
