Hidden Chocolate Treasures
|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter||8 Ounce, softened (2 Sticks)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Cake flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Chocolate chips||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl, beat brown sugar, powdered sugar, and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
2. Add cake flour mixed with baking powder and salt. Stir until blended. Shape about a tablespoon of dough around a few chocolate chips. Place dough balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges just begin to turn golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes before removing to a rack to cool completely.
