Sugared Butter Cookies
|Soft butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Confectionery sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Sifted all purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped nuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar until light.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Chill for several hours.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Put on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400°F.) for 10 to 12 minutes.
Roll at once in confectioners' sugar.
Cool, and roll again in sugar.
