|Butter||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (At Room Temperature)|
|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cinnamon jam||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 350° F .
Cream butter with sugar in large bowl.
Add egg and vanilla and beat well.
Combine flour baking powder and cinnamon and add gradually to creamed mixture, blending well after each addition.
Divide into four equal portions, rolling each into cylinder about 12 inches long.
Transfer to baking sheet(s).
Make an indentation about 1/4 inch deep down center of each cylinder and fill with jam.
Bake until golden, about 15 minutes.
Let cool slightly then slice cylinders diagonally into cookies 3/4 inch wide.
