Fudge Cookie Brownies
|Butter/Margarine||6 Tablespoon (Cut Up)|
|Unsweetened chocolate square||2 Ounce (2 Squares, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chocolate chunk pecan cookies/Chocolate chip / peanut butter chip cookies||1 Cup (16 tbs), crushed|
1. In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter and chocolate. Microwave, uncovered, at 50% power 2 1/2 minutes or until chocolate is melted, stirring twice during heating.
2. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour and baking powder. Fold in cookies.
3. Spread batter in 8-inch round microwave-safe baking dish. Elevate if necessary. Microwave, uncovered, at 50% power 8 minutes or until edges appear dry but center is still wet, rotating dish once during cooking.
4. Increase power to HIGH. Microwave, uncovered, 2 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, rotating dish once during cooking. Let stand directly on countertop until cool before cutting.
