Peanut Brittle

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Lemon extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shelled peanuts 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Combine sugar, syrup and water in pan.
Stir until it begins to boil, wash down sides with wet pastry brush and cook to 310F.
Add butter, flavoring and nuts.
Pour into a shallow buttered pan.
When cool, break in pieces.
