|Ground almonds||1⁄2 Ounce|
|Lemon||1 , rind grated|
Beat egg-whites until peaks form.
Gradually beat in sugar, beat until sugar is dissolved; mixture should be of meringue consistency.
Fold in ground almonds and grated lemon rind.
Using 2 teaspoons, spoon mixture on to greased and cornfloured oven trays, allowing room for spreading.
Bake in moderate oven, Mark 4, 325°F.,
