|Commercial sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Flaked coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs or egg yolks and beat.
Stir in vanilla extract, lemon rind and sour cream.
Combine flour, baking powder and soda and add to creamed mixture.
Chill the dough for 3 hours in the refrigerator.
Roll dough on floured pastry cloth to 1/4 inch thickness and cut Into various shapes with cookie cutters.
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheets at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove cookies at once to wire racks.
