Step1-Butter a cookie sheet and set aside.
Step2-Mix peanuts, sugar,water, and syrup in a 2 quart sauce pan.
Step3-Bring to a boil.
Step4-Cook at 300degrees fareinhite for 15 minutes.
Step5-Remove from heat.Quickly stir in baking soda and butter. Will harden rapidly.
Step6-Pour quickly onto a buttered cookie sheet and let stand for about 50 minutes to cool.
Step7-Break up into pieces and serve.
