|Firmly packed dark brown sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Commercial sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oats||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Quick Cooking Or Regular, Uncooked)|
|Semisweet chocolate morsels||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cream shortening, sugar and spices together until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to shortening mixture alternately with sour cream.
Stir in oats.
Add chocolate morsels, walnuts, and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonsful onto very lightly greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks
