  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sweet butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted and cooled
  Powdered sugar 2 Tablespoon (for serving)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, salt, sugar, and vanilla together until thick and pale yellow in color, about 8 minutes.
Fold in flour, rapidly but gently.
Gradually fold in butter, making sure it does not settle to the bottom of the bowl.
Spoon batter into well-buttered, lightly floured madeleine tins, filling each about three-fourths full.
Place in the center of the oven and bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Turn madeleines out of tins immediately and let cool on a rack.
Before serving, dust lightly with powdered sugar.
