Applesauce Cookies

Ingredients
  Corn free vegetable shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Applesauce 1 Cup (16 tbs), add 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar to make it tart
  Lemon juice/Vinegar 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (For Adding To The Applesauce)
  Arrowroot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown rice flour/1 cup millet flour / garbanzo flour and 3/4 cup brown rice flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Arrowroot baking powder 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped nuts/Seeds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cream together the shortening and honey.
Add applesauce.
Combine dry ingredients.
Stir into applesauce mixture.
Add nuts and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400° about 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
