Pine Nut Macaroons
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ground almonds||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Pine nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a food processor place sugar, ground almonds, vanilla and egg whites.
Whirl for a minute or so, to form a smooth paste:.
Mix whole pine nuts into this mixture and with the help of a spoon form walnut-sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 10-12 minutes.
