Fudge Oatmeal Cookies
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats/Regular oats||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (uncooked)|
Combine sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent sticking.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla extract and nuts and mix well.
Add oats and blend thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoonsful onto waxed paper.
Do not bake; these are ready to eat.
