Lemon-Cream Cheese Cookies

Ingredients
  Cream cheese 3 Ounce, softened (1 Package)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated lemon peel 2 Tablespoon
  Freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cornflake crumbs 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Blend cream cheese with butter and sugar: add lemon peel and lemon juice.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating until smooth.
Chill dough about 1 hour.
Shape dough into small balls.
Roll in cornflake crumbs.
Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Do not allow to brown; cookies should remain a delicate light color.
