Lemon Topped Prune Drops

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Dried prunes 8 Ounce, diced (or 1 1/3 cups snipped pitted whole dates)
  Powdered sugar 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs), sifted
  Butter 2 Tablespoon, softened
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. In a large mixer bowl beat 1/2 cup butter or margarine till softened. Add brown sugar and beat till fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla and beat well. Add flour mixture and beat till well mixed. Stir in prunes or dates.
• Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till done. Remove and cool.
• Beat together powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons softened butter or margarine, water, and lemon juice. Spread on tops of cookies.
