|Salad oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Egg||1 , well beaten|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chopped nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Oats||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked (Quick -Cooking Or Regular)|
Beat oil and sugar together.
Stir in vanilla extract and beaten egg.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add to oil mixture.
Stir In nuts and oats.
Drop by teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool for about 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets.
