Toasted Sesame Cookies

Ingredients
  Sesame seeds 4 1⁄4 Ounce (2- 2 1/8 ounce jars)
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
Directions

1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, toast sesame seeds until golden, shaking skillet and stirring frequently. Remove skillet from heat; set aside.
2. Into large bowl, measure flour and remaining ingredients. With mixer at low speed, beat ingredients until well blended, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. Stir in 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape 2 teaspoonfuls dough at a time into 2-inch-long ovals; roll ovals in remaining sesame seeds. Place ovals, about 1 inch apart, on ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake cookies 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool. Store cookies in tightly covered container.
