Party Molasses Snaps

Ingredients
  Softened butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), warmed
  Molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Orange peel 1 Tablespoon, grated
  Fresh orange juice 1 Teaspoon
  Whole wheat flour 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Combine and beat thoroughly, all ingredients but flour, soda, and pecans.
Stir together flour and soda and add to first mixture.
Add chopped pecans.
Chill dough several hours.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Measure out level tablespoonfuls of dough, form into balls, and place on buttered baking sheet.
Lightly press pecan half in center of each cookie.
Bake 12 minutes.
Let cookies cool a few minutes on baking sheet before removing to rack.
