|Granulated fructose||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Quick-cooking oatmeal||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Toasted rice cereal||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Sift together flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
Using an electric mixer, beat shortening, sugar replacement, and fructose until fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
Gradually stir flour mixture into creamed mixture.
Stir in oatmeal and rice cereal.
Form into 1 in. (2.5 cm) balls.
Place balls on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
Move to cooling rack.
