HOME MADE COCONUT MACAROONS

Ingredients
  Egg whites 2
  Sugar 180 Gram
  Vanilla 2 Teaspoon
  Almond essence 1 Teaspoon
  Desiccated coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven 150 degrees C

Step 2

Beat egg whites and sugar on high speed and electric mixer. about 5 minutes

Step 3

Add vanilla and almond essence, beat well.

Step 4

Mix desiccated coconut.

Step 5

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6

Cool and serve

im making home made coconut macaroons and I need cream of tartar. I need to know where I can get it?????? I live in north bergen NJ. do you think I could find it at stop n shop, pathmark etc?????? and do you think mc cormic has this stuff and plzz no dumb answers thxxxxxxxx xoxoxoxoxooxox
