1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream the butter with the sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and the vanilla. Sift the flour and stir in with the milk, coconut, and raisins.
3. Drop by teaspoons onto an oiled baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until done.
