Two Tone Cookies

Ingredients
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 6 Tablespoon, softened
  Granulated sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chopped walnuts 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate square 1 Ounce, melted and cooled (1 Piece)
Directions

Cream together brown sugar, softened butter, and granulated sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
Stir in sour cream.
Stir together flour, salt, and soda.
Gradually mix into creamed mixture; stir in chopped nuts.
Divide dough in half; stir chocolate into one portion.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of chocolate dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of plain dough next to chocolate mounds.
If desired, press a walnut half atop each cookie.
Bake at 375° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on rack.
