|Granulated sugar||250 Milliliter (1 cup)|
|All purpose flour||500 Milliliter (2 cups)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Anise seeds||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
Place eggs in large bowl and add sugar; mix together.
In separate bowl, sift flour with baking powder.
Drop in anise seeds and mix.
Incorporate flour into wet batter.
Cover with waxed paper and refrigerate dough overnight.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Place cookie dough on floured surface and roll dough until about 1/4 inch (0.65 cm) thick.
Sprinkle with additional flour to avoid sticking.
Using cookie cutters (of different shapes if desired), form shapes and place cookies on buttered cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes.
