|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Chopped candied cherries||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Red/Green)|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flaked coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In mixing bowl cream together sugar and butter or margarine till fluffy; blend in milk and vanilla or rum flavoring.
Stir in flour, chopped candied cherries, and chopped pecans.
Form dough into three 7-inch rolls.
Roll in flaked coconut to coat outside.
Wrap dough in waxed paper or clear plastic wrap; chill thoroughly.
Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° till edges are golden, about 12 minutes.
