Holiday Hickory Drops
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Granulated brown sugar replacement||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cake flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Hickory nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Cream together shortening and brown sugar replacement until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Combine cake flour and baking powder in sifter, and add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.
Fold in vanilla and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
