Saucepan Oatmeal Cookies
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cocoa||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oatmeal||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
In large heavy saucepan combine, sugar and cocoa.
Stir in milk and syrup, add margarine.
Bring to boil.
Boil vigorously for 3 minutes.
Stir in oatmeal and peanut butter.
Remove from heat.
Stir until slightly thickened.
Immediately drop by tea-spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
