Pretzel Cookies are simple Christmas cookies that won't break your budget. With the perfect blend of flavors Pretzel Cookies is a classic treat. Try out our Pretzel Cookies recipe and tell me how it turned out. I am sure you would not be able to stop yourself from having more than one cookie!
  All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs), softened
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Chocolate decorating sprinkles 1 3⁄4 Ounce

1. Into large bowl, measure first 5 ingredients, 1 egg, and 1 egg yolk. With mixer at low speed,beat ingredients until blended, occasionally scraping bowl. Stir in decors.
2. Preheat oven to 400°F. With hands, roll 2 level tablespoonfuls mixture into a 12-inch-long rope. Shape rope into loop-shaped pretzel. Repeat with remaining dough. Place cookies, about 1 inch apart, on ungreased large cookie sheets. Brush cookies with remaining egg white.
3. Bake cookies 10 to 12 minutes until golden. Remove cookies to wire racks to cool. Store cookies in tightly covered container.
