Applesauce Cocoa Cookies

Ingredients
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Granulated sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), replacing
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Cake flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cocoa 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Unsweetened applesauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Cream together the shortening and sugar replacement.
Add egg and blend well.
Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with applesauce and water to creamed mixture.
Be sure to add flour first and last.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at375°F (190°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.
