Spiced Pressed Cookies

  Shortening 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), soft
  Granulated sugar 3 Teaspoon, replacing
  Vanilla extract 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Water 3 Teaspoon
  Eggs 3
  Cake flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground

Combine shortening and sugar replacement in mixing bowl; beat until light and fluffy.
Combine vanilla, water and eggs in measuring cup, beating until blended.
Combine cake flour, baking powder and spices in sifter.
Sift flour mixture alternately with egg mixture into shortening.
Blend well after each addition.
Chill thoroughly (at least 2 hours).
With cookie press, press into shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 7 to 8 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately.
