Cherry Dot Cookies

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Margarine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), softened
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Low fat milk 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped pitted dates 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped maraschino cherries 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Corn flakes cereal 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs), crushed to 1 1/3 cups
  Maraschino cherries 15 , cut into quarters
Directions

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.
Set aside.
In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir in milk and vanilla.
Add flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in nuts, dates and chopped cherries.
Shape level measuring tablespoonfuls of dough into balls.
Roll in crushed Kellogg's Corn Flakes® cereal.
Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
Top each with cherry quarter.
Bake at 350°F about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
