|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut into pieces (At Room Temperature)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Lemon extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon peel||1 Teaspoon, grated|
Combine butter and sugar in processor or medium bowl of electric mixer and blend until smooth.
Add yolks 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Blend in remaining ingredients.
Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch-thick cylinder.
Wrap in plastic and chill at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cut dough into Winch slices and arrange on baking sheet.
Bake until lightly browned, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Let cool on rack.
