Applesauce-Kasha Cookies is a fantastic recipe. These baked cookies-Applesauce-Kasha Cookies, taste like heaven. My kids will do anything to get me to make this!
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 180 Milliliter (1 3/4 Cups)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Butter/Margarine 120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Brown sugar 180 Milliliter (3/4 Cup)
  Egg 1
  Unsweetened applesauce 240 Milliliter (1 Cup)
  Rolled oats 120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Raisins/Currants 120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Kasha 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Cooked)
Directions

Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in egg and applesauce.
Slowly stir in flour mixture; mix well.
Add oats, raisins and kasha.
Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
