|Butter/Margarine||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Brown sugar||180 Milliliter (3/4 Cup)|
|Unsweetened applesauce||240 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Rolled oats||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Raisins/Currants||120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Kasha||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Cooked)|
Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and spices; set aside.
In large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in egg and applesauce.
Slowly stir in flour mixture; mix well.
Add oats, raisins and kasha.
Drop mixture by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
