Almond Rice Flour Macaroons

Ingredients
  Egg whites 2
  Caster sugar 8 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Semolina/Ground rice 1 Tablespoon
  Ground almonds 6 Ounce
  Blanched almonds 18
Directions

Beat the egg whites and salt until stiff.
Fold in the almonds,'sugar, and rice flour.
Put in rounds on rice paper or heavily greased baking trays.
Place an almond on each.
Bake in a slow oven.
The easiest way of shaping the macaroons is to roll the mixture in balls in the palms of the hands and then flatten with a knife.
