Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies
|All purpose flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed|
|Granulated sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Sift the flour, measure, and sift again with the soda.
Cream the butter; gradually cream in the peanut butter, then the brown sugar, then the granulated sugar.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time; add vanilla.
Work in the sifted dry ingredients.
Form into balls the size of large marbles and place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Press balls down slightly with a fork, marking crisscrosses on top of each with the fork tines.
Bake the cookies in a 375° oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
