Brown Picnic Cookies
|Whole wheat flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cold butter||8 Tablespoon|
Mingle the two types of flours and put in the butter.
Keep rubbing in the butter until the mixture looks like crumbs.
Add the sugar and pour the honey.
Mix well to make dough.
After shaping the dough into a ball, knead it for about 1-2 minutes on a lightly floured surface.
Make sure that it feels smooth.
Next, roll the dough 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
Cut it into the shapes that you desire.
Arrange the shapes on a non greased baking sheet.
Take care to leave 1" gap between two shapes.
Bake in an oven at 325°F for about 20 minutes.
Wait until they get lightly browned.
Allow then to cool down completely.
Crisp cookies are right there in front of you!
