|Brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Melted butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , unbeaten|
|Pastry flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and brown sugar.
Add unbeaten egg and vanilla and cream some more.
Add sifted dry ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until golden.
Watch them, they don't take long to bake.
