Chocolate Coconut Macaroons
|Devil's food cake mix with pudding||18 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Flaked coconut||1 Cup (16 tbs), toasted|
|Regular oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), uncooked and toasted|
|Butter/Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), melted|
|Vanilla extract||2 Teaspoon|
|Eggs||2 , slightly beaten|
|Milk chocolate candy bar||8 7⁄10 Ounce, broken into squares (6 X 1.45 Ounce Squares)|
|Flaked coconut||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Combine first 6 ingredients; chill 30 minutes.
Drop dough by heaping tea-spoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
Immediately top each cookie with one chocolate square; spread to frost.
Sprinkle cookies with coconut.
