Butterscotch Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  White sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  All purpose flour 3 Cup (48 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 3 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cream butter.
Add brown and white sugar and cream some more.
Add eggs and beat one minute after addition of each egg.
Add sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
Add flavorings.
Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
If you prefer to make rolled cookies, make cookie batter into 2 rolls.
Wrap in wax paper and chill in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
